Delicious Egg sauce with boiled plantain recipe
Egg sauce with boiled or fried plantain is a well-recognized food in Nigeria. It is quick to make you don't have to wait for hours before it is ready and it is a pocket-friendly meal to make. You don't have to break the bank to make this. So let's get right to business.
Ingredients needed
3 ripe and unripe plantains
Egg sauce recipe
• 3 eggs
• Chopped spring onion
• Vegetable oil
• Salt
• Seasoning powder
• Sausage or chicken whichever you prefer
• Chopped onion
• 7 Scotch bonnet pepper
• 3 Tomatoes
Preparation process
Plantain preparation process
Add water to a bowl and slice your plantain inside and wash thoroughly, add water to a pot and add your sliced plantain then add salt to taste. Let it boil till soft, it brings out a yellow color this is a sign it is ready remove from the fire and serve inside a cooler.
Egg sauce preparation process
Add scotch bonnet pepper and tomatoes in a blender and blend without water so you can get the pepper power in your egg sauce
Heat a frying pan, add your vegetable oil, then add chopped onion allow to fry for 2 minutes then add blended pepper, seasoning powder, salt, sausage/chicken whichever you are using stir together properly and add your egg allow to fry for 2 minutes then add chopped spring onion and stir properly allow to fry for 1 minute and remove from and serve with boiled plantain. And food is ready.
